Starting in 1990 we developed a speaker design for ceiling speakers known as the SuperDispersion® ceiling speaker, an Omni Directional Ceiling speaker that drops into 2x2 ceiling tile grid. This patented design has been installed in thousands of locations worldwide.
SuperDispersion® ceiling speaker arrays offer flawless performance, value and are ideal for Classrooms, Conference Rooms, Training Rooms, Teleconferencing, Churches, Retail Spaces, Corporate Offices and many more. Conventional speaker designs radiate sound in a limited conical pattern similar to a “flashlight” pattern of directional sound. Low frequency sounds are radiated out but the critical higher frequencies that contribute to voice and music reproduction narrow and beam directly underneath or in front of the speaker. In order hear full range sound over a wider dispersion pattern many more speakers become necessary adding greatly to the cost. The SuperDispersion® Ceiling Speakers are uniquely engineered to overcome these limitations by radiating high, mid and low frequency sound equally over a wide coverage area. This wide, full range dispersion is created by a precisely engineered design and cohesiveness’ of the high-performance drivers working in unison to create an omnidirectional in ceiling loudspeaker.
